Residential & commerical electrical services

Prices

Fair Pricing

We always quote fairly with no hidden costs. The costs for materials, parking and congestion charge are in addition to the prices shown below.

Fixed Quotations

We provide fixed quotations for larger works. First we will arrange to make a site visit to the property to assess the scope of the work to be done.

Throughout the job all costs are explained to the customer and agreed up front, before any work is undertaken.  Any alterations or additions to the original quotation will always be promptly and fairly communicated.

Terms & Conditions

V.A.T
None will be added to the final bill.

Parking charges
Parking charges as well as the congestion charge are in addition to this quotation and will be charged at cost. If there are no parking restrictions, off street parking is available, or we are provided with suitable parking permits/scratch cards then no additional charges would apply. We are not able to park in nearby streets to avoid restrictions as continuous access to the vehicle is normally required.

Testing the existing installation
If the work involves alterations or additions to an existing installation this will be tested and inspect to ensure safety and compliance with current regulations. The test and inspection of all circuits to be worked on will be the first item carried out. Any problems encountered with the existing installation at this stage will be brought to the client’s attention and fully explained. If remedial work is required it will be at additional cost to that specified in this quotation. It is entirely at the client’s discretion whether to proceed with the remedial work, however if the decision is taken not to proceed the client will still be liable for the cost of the original test and inspection. This been identified separately on this quotation under the heading ‘Test and Inspection’.

Electricity supply
In most cases the electricity supply will need to be shut down at intervals in order to complete the work. It may only involve individual circuits rather than power to the whole property. We try hard to keep this to a minimum. Fair warning will be given when this is likely to happen, however no responsibility will be accepted for any damage or loss due to disconnection of the electricity supply. Please also remember that if the electricity supply is turned off that this will also affect your internet connection.

Making good
We will repair any damage to the walls or ceilings with bonding coat plaster. This does not include redecoration. Filling, sanding and re-painting will still be required.

Specification
The work will not necessarily be carried out in the order listed within the specifications. The exact installation may change slightly from that described, depending on availability of parts and/or problems encountered at the time.

Variations - additions and extras
Any variations to the specification that are requested by the client will be charged for at the company’s standard rates. All costs will be fully explained and agreed before any additions will be carried out. In the majority of cases any work requested by the client that is additional to this specification will be carried out at the hourly rate of the location plus any parts.

Payment terms
We accept Cash, Cheque or BACS. Payments should be made to Luke Beech Electrical. Staged payments will be required fortnightly during the course of the work. The amounts will be approximately equivalent to the value of parts and labour of the works completed. Final payment to be received in full upon completion of work.

1 year warranty
Unless otherwise specified all work is covered by a 1 year guarantee. This includes quality of workmanship and all parts supplied by Luke Beech Electrical. Please note that if you choose to supply some of your own items then these would not be covered by this warranty. Any time spent replacing such parts would be at additional cost. Consumable items such as lamps (Light bulbs) are not covered by this warranty. Guarantees/warranties are not insurance backed.
